Information we collect
StatementIQ may collect account information, sign-in details, merchant profile information, uploaded processor statements, billing records, support messages, feedback, and usage or diagnostic information needed to operate and improve the service.
Cookies, storage, and analytics
StatementIQ uses essential cookies and browser storage for sign-in, preview access, secure report access, and product state. The site also uses privacy-conscious analytics and activity signals to understand visits, navigation, uploads, and product flow issues. Visitors can decline non-essential analytics from the site notice; essential security and account cookies remain active because they are required for the service to work.
How statement data is used
Uploaded statements are used to generate reports, extract merchant and processor details, identify savings signals, support manual review, improve parser coverage, provide account history, and maintain security and audit records.
AI-assisted review
StatementIQ is an AI-first company and may use AI-assisted workflows to interpret statement formats, draft report language, identify likely savings opportunities, and support analyst review. Human review may be used where needed, especially for unknown formats.
Aggregated benchmarks
As the dataset grows, StatementIQ may use anonymized and aggregated information to build market benchmarks for comparable merchants. Your raw statement, business name, exact pricing, and merchant-specific information are not shown to other merchants.
Privacy guardrails
Benchmarking should use aggregated peer groups, minimum sample sizes, and comparable cohorts so another merchant cannot infer your specific terms. Merchants may be offered opt-out controls as benchmark features mature.
Sharing
StatementIQ does not sell merchant statements. Information may be shared with service providers that help operate the product, such as hosting, authentication, storage, payments, analytics, support, and security providers, under appropriate operational controls.
Security
The service is designed around private statement storage, signed upload flows, encrypted infrastructure, audit trails, and separation between payment data and statement analysis. Payment card entry is handled by payment processors such as Stripe, not by StatementIQ.
Retention and deletion
Statements and related records may be retained for analysis, account history, auditability, product improvement, and support. As the product matures, retention controls and deletion workflows will be expanded for production use.
Contact
For privacy or terms questions, contact Quantara Systems through the support or contact channel provided in the StatementIQ app.
